Didnt lose as much this week - always good to review the week coming from a space of nothing wrong. Just looking at what worked and what didnt - what actions do I need to take. Meals / calories were really good - but not as much exercise this week (insert reasons & excuses) - so just looking at my coming week. Long hours of night shift again - but there is room for exercise.
In a conversation with a coaching client this week, we discussed what it is to give our word to something and how we often have a "flippant" relationship with our word. Like telling our parents we be home around 3pm - and then rockin' in around 3.30 and thinking its okay because we didn't actually say 3pm - we just said "around" 3pm. Talk about avoiding giving our word to being there at 3 (avoid failure) I got that I did the same thing last week on here when I said "I'll see if I can lose 1.6k in a couple of weeks" By not giving my word - I avoided being accountable in my communities and to myself. No power in that...
So this week, I am giving my word losing my half kilo - like no kidding, doing what ever it takes. It means giving up my reasons, excuse, justifications - all of which occur inside of the world of "ordinary" and not the world of performance.
