Today was totally out of our normal routine. Had to go up to Mass to bring my dad a TV for his room at the PT joint. Imagine that, bring your own TV to rehab?? What's up with that....oh well, glad we had an extra to bring up to him and will donate it to the place when he leaves.
Food was wacked today, breakfast was good, lunch...not, dinner was a bad-ass cheeseburger and tater tots. To make matters worse we bought paczki's for "dessert". OK, so a paczki is a special Polish donut that is filled with either creme or fruit and is only sold at this time of the year for about a month. They are larger than a regular donut and have double the amount of filling from a regular donut. I had a prune filled one. I knew I would be having one paczki at some point this month. I only allow myself one per year and never eat donuts any other time. So today was as good a day as any since I already knew I was having that cheeseburger. Hubby made them for dinner, actually patty melts, you know the burger, grilled rye bread.....blah-blah-blah.
Kissing this crappy week goodbye, sooooo glad tomorrow is Monday and a brand new week awaits me!

Ok yeah, that TV thing is weird. But nice of you that you're going to let the rehab place keep it! You're entitled to have a fun food day once in a while, we all know you're back to the grind tomorrow babe. I hope all that yummy stuff doesn't mess with your tummy tho, that tends to happen to me if I overdo it.

Yeah, I might be regreting it. My mom played some big headgames with me over my weight this week and I subconsciously said "screw it". No worries, only a momentary blip on the Babs radar!

Babs, I am so sorry to hear about your dad...this week ahs been rather hit or miss for me this week also, and I am sorry that I missed what was going on with your dad. He will be in my prayers, as will you and the rest of your family. When mom fell and broke her ankle, she had to go to rhab facility and we had ot porvide the t and it had to be a high def, digital, as nothing else worked! Crazy! Hope that this week is much better for you, and great job with the loss while in such a stressful situation!
