Well, I did not make my goal of 250 by Mothers Day, but I have crossed the 30 lb threshold. I’m going to shoot for 245 by the 9th of June. I had to wear my suit today to the funeral of a fellow pastor who died from a bout with pancreatic cancer, and this time my coat buttons did not pose a missile hazard. Although I have stayed entirely away from sweets, I did not do as well this past couple of weeks in consuming more veggies. I think had I eaten more veggies, my portion control with fish and chicken would have been better. I have found that protein substitutes for red meat do not necessarily equate to a lower caloric intake; I still have to exercise discipline. Toodles!
