Well, what have I discovered this week. 1st The difference that fluid can make when we weigh in. Like 1.5 kilos in 24 hours. I think I am beginning to understand why weighing daily can be a pitfall. I can see the importance of the same routine before weigh in - I normally exercise/walk, come home go to the loo, then weigh before a shower each Saturday afternoon. Now we all know how I live...and each Saturday I ask myself - who do I need to be and what actions do I need to take to lose another .5 this week? 2nd - the consequences of going a bit too hard to soon - I've done zero walking this week - had to give my knee a rest. 3rd - I really cut back my calorie intake this week as I was doing less - and still lost wait - so clearly following a meal plan works. 4th - for me, writing everything in a book is a structure for success. Its simple - when I track my food I eat less and lose weight - when I dont I stack it back on. So, I am taking on that I do a food dairy every day - even once I hit goal weight. It just works for me.
The other thing is that I put in my BIO that "there is nothing that cant be transformed inside of my word". Unless I give my word to it, and then honor my word, there is no power, and nothing to stand for. Sounds very "coachy" but that's what I do ( I coach people ). and here we are - about 1 kg off my first 10kilos lost since I started back again in Feb.
So, forgive me for asking but what are you giving your word to this week around your weight loss...I'd love to hear any comments - or not - what ever works..
