This is really so true, look how much I am eating and my caloric net intake is pretty low for what I eat! But seriously making a very large pot of vegetable soup with mostly non starchy veggies, you will eat so much of it and get full without the calories or the fat nor carbs. It is really worth it.

I think that completely depends on the type of carbs we're talking about. If we eat stuff like beans, veggies etc, then I totally agree. If we're talking about carbs such as processed carbs than the situation is very different. Besides having more calories than their natural counterparts, they may very likely cause insulin spikes/ sugar crashes which will cause you to be hungrier. It's very important to separate the good carbs from the bad ones and there are lots of bad carbs disguised as good ones out there. Those will still cause your insulin to spike. :P

(A good example of that is whole breads. I've heard these will spike your insulin)

Weight Watchers has a 0 pt soup which is similar to what you are talking about. It's really great for your constitution, lol! It fills you up without the calories.
