i have fallen apart, i have not recorded in 3 days and i have gone back to my old eating habits. i feel so guilty and im not sure how to get myself out of this funk.

We all have been there sometime !! Keep it up , you’ve made it till here, don’t let yourself down , I used to overeat and binge if I made one little mistake and because of that I ended up making a bigger one when the truth is that there are always gonna be bumps on the way , unexpected ones , big ones ... but the important thing is to get back on the way . We also need to forgive and understand ourselves . Ánimo!!

keep going man, I've just started a diet myself, been on a deficit for a week, and I see no results yet, but from previous experiences I know I will see them soo, so just stick to it!

Today is a new day!!! Just start by plugging in your breakfast!!! Then keep going! If you feel like eating something you know you shouldn’t....for me it’s ice cream...go for a walk instead.

I totally understand! The last two weeks have been hectic here. Flat tires on two of my vehicles, washing machine leaked (wound up being a loose hose), garage doors decided to keep going up and down (had to shut breaker), had to take another car in for an O sensor, my dog had a severe uterus infection and needed surgery, incident with neighbor driving her side-by-side through my property at 20 mph. Horse decided to break water line and flooded his stall. Feels like it never ends, but I’m getting back on track starting today. I have to take care of me to take care of everything else. You can do this!!

Go back and read your bio. You're here to do it for your wife & kids! Same reason I'm here so we can both live as long as possible for our children. It'll never be easy but fight each day. Win each meal then it becomes like clockwork. But eating healthy and changing your life style isn't the easiest! We can't feel sorry for ourselves. Everyone has problems but we have too overcome them. Most importantly for our own health & so we can be here as long as the good lord is willing to have us. Use the app/community to strengthen you. You have already accomplished some tremendous work! You're focusing on what you haven't accomplished. Turn it around and focus on what is up ahead and move forward, just like you did when you started. Someone on here once put into perspective this way (I am paraphrasing) - "taking your age into consideration, figure how many years you have ahead of you, how many days ahead, how many meals ahead of you. So you messed up for a fraction of those thousands of meals you have and will take in, it's gonna happen." Now focus on making effective choices for upcoming meals. If you have to start all over again, do it, but know that you already know what to do and you certainly are not alone. 💖

I'm not sure how to get out of that situation - I had a rough week of oversnacking myself - but one thing I can tell you is don't feel guilty!! That's a bogus emotion that tries to sabotage you by making you forget all the accomplishments you've achieved so far. We all lose some battles but the war ain't over. Remember why you started losing weight in the 1st place and how far you've come. Good luck bro.

Same thing here! Over the weekend I got lazy about recording my food intake, let my guard down on portion sizes, and gave in to some binge urges. Old habits came roaring back. I was shocked at how easily I fell back into my old ways. I am taking it as a gentle reminder that I must stay on top of it or I'll wind up right back where I was. You are not alone my friend.
