Scarey weight gain. Had a week on staycation, only swam 3 times, ate loads of all the wrong stuff and to top it all husband goes into ICU woth deep vein thrombosis, he’s doing ok but I deep eat stupid things for comfort, not overly impressed by my lack of will power :(. So back on the wagon before I completely screw it up. Off for a swim this morning and got all the correct food in the fridge now. Also hubby told he needs to eat properly too when he eventually gets home so important to get back into it. Feeling positive just desperately disappointed in such a high weight gain. But know I can get it back down to the 81kg I was before all this mess happened. Wish me luck 😑

Jeez! You've had an awful scare, as did your husband. I think you're doing great, getting up & getting back into your swimming. You will certainly get there, as will your husband too. I think it really is getting into the habit & routine of only preparing & eating a certain diet. Hope your hubby's back on his feet soon & good luck in weightloss journey xx

Thanks all foe your kind words, hubby still on the mend, out of ICU today, little steps, weight coming down now
