i had a pretty stressful and super busy week. i for the most part made pretty healthy choices but i can do better. i did not track that well either. i got back on it today and worked out this morning. i still am feeling pretty healthy so that is good. i went out for a lot of meals last week, too. so i was having to navigate lots of menus and i had somewhat limited choices since i am doing vegetarian now. at one restaurant i was at for a work dinner there was only one veggie choice - pasta primavera. it was not tasty, i just ate the veggie sauce and did not eat much of the pasta. it was not tasty enough to warrant eating it. anyhoo, i am leaving next week to be on the road pretty much for the next 8 months. i know i will feel better when i eat healthy so that is the plan. i know i can do good at breakfast and lunch. dinner's i imagine will be out a lot but i can figure out how to stay in control of my calories. and since i won't have an oven, i won't be tempted to bake - i made peanut butter chocolate chip cookies this weekend, they were so good. i had a few but i gave the rest away. i love baking - it helps me de-stress. anyway, i will weight in tomorrow, i hope to maintain my weight from last week but if it fluctuated a little bit i will not freak out. i just have to keep on my journey. in the past, i would give up after a few off days, but this time, i am going to keep trucking along. now off to brunch with a friend before i leave town - my first opportunity to make a healthy choice!
