woohoo..down another lb to 197..I hated 206-208! I am trying hard..gonna keep going till I get to 170 ..and then some!

Awesome! My high was 238, and I'm only 5'2" - such a butterball! Over the last several years I dropped to around 185-190 and plateaued. Finally, I committed mentally to putting forth more effort to eat less, and more healthy foods, get regular walking in. In just under 3 months, I've dropped down to 175 and my goal weight is 150. I am determined to do it. You can too! :)

may I ask where you started? I've just begun my fatsecret journey at 240 lbs. I'm down to 238 now but I'm expecting it to slow at some point. is it 203 to 208 like you said? how did you stay motivated?

Thank-you all!!!! aviendha3711 My highest weight was 208..That was months ago..I started really trying hard 2 wks ago because now my hubby has joined me in the fight due to him being Diabetic..He has been diabetic for 30 yrs, he never cared and is over weight..He would never try with me to lose..He ended up being missing 2 wks ago for over 5 hrs after his dr. appoint..We found him in his car, still running unable to wake..he had a bad infection in his leg from his sugar..wake up call and now he's on board with me to really do this!

Oh my goodness! I'm glad he is ok!! My boyfriend has hypertension and I feel like it's a victory every time I can convince him to go on a walk with me. Now if I can only get him to lose weight with me and quit smoking!

I know right! My hubby wont do any exer. he constantly gets cramps..he thinks because he walks all nite at work that's enough..When your walking on cement for 8 hrs its not stretching..At 63 Im pretty limber but he can barely bend over at 57..stretching and walking and exer. all combined is good.. I quit smoking 7 years ago in Novemeber...I have Asthma, smoked since I was 18..I got Bronchitis ended up being unable to hardly breathe at all and was in the hospital twice..I quit cold turkey, threw out all cigs and ash trays & lighters..Hubby told me if I quit he would stop dipping tobacco..He's still doing it...He road my butt for years about smoking and he is still doing tobacco..Best thing I ever did was quit!!!Men never listen do they??
