Awww man!!!!! I went to Olive Garden with my husband for lunch.... I was sooooo good!! Or so I thought.... Soup, salad and only 1 bread stick!!! And I didn't even eat a whole serving! Did you know that one serving of Olive Garden salad has 26 grams of fat??????????? Apparently it's all the dressings fault, but I didn't even think about Italian dressing being so bad!! And they already had it on the salad.... If I had been aware of the contents of the dressing (which i don't ever eat at home) then I could have kindly asked to leave it on the side and not drench my lettuce in it (which I hate lettuce anyway). If I had known it was going to actually mess me up that bad I wouldn't have even eaten the salad! ARG!!!!
Then I question the validity of the nutritional content... Can on e tiny plate of that salad really have 26 grams of fat and 350 calories??? How??? Olive Garden's site doesn't say how much is in one serving. Do they mean one of those tiny appetizer plates or the whole bowl of salad??
Why does it have to be so hard to eat out the right way???
Ok, done venting now. Def won't be making that mistake again. Know what you eat, that's all I can say.
