People see you as what you look like in the now. It’s hard for me to hear that I’m the guy with the muscles or the skinny guy. Really? Ok! I’ve always been the big guy, husky. My wife is a bit more used to being a hottie. We have a new life now.

You are so right, most people do see you and make assumptions about you, based on how you look now. This was something that really dragged me down the last few years. Fortunately it doesn’t apply with those who love you. It’s great to change together with a partner.

Thank you! No one will really know your story unless you tell them. People see the leaders here on FS and think they’ve never struggled or that it was a short term problem. Yes, there are some on here like that, but most of us have been on a very long journey! My standard adult weight has been between 275 and 280.
