How do you get those perfect looking poached eggs. Mine always look awful.

Hi Jim, sorry for the late response as I just noticed your question! Aye so, all I do do is strain the eggs through a sieve, boil water (small bubbles) with a splash of white vinegar and then poach the eggs for 2 mins in the boiling water and 1 minute off the heat. The straining of the eggs is a bit of a faff but it makes a difference.
