Busy day yesterday. Rose at 4 am, did 30 min of Yoga and 80 min of weights. Got cleaned up and ate a monster-sized protein rich breakfast before heading to the office. Had clients lined up waiting in the parking lot when I arrived and didn't have one break between clients before we locked the doors at 7 pm. Then I stayed and finished 5 more client's work that had been dropped off during the day before heading home at 9:30 pm. Got home at 10:00, showered and hit the hay by 10:30. Slept exceptionally well.

Up again at 4 this morning to do my Yoga, Core Exercises & 45 min on the Stair Master. After this brief break to check for messages, I'll haul some feed (freezing cold and a little snow this morning) before breakfast and off to the office for another day that already has appointments booked from open until close.

Getting up early and exercising is new for me. I usually like exercising in the evening, but with this schedule I was forced to try something new. I really like it. It gets my blood pumping for the day, and no matter what else happens, I know that I got some exercise in for the day.

This week should be the worst for me for the season. I have two key staff members that had family emergencies that called them away. One for this week and another for three weeks. However, my son is flying in on Saturday to help out for 10 days, and that will lighten my load up significantly. My regular staff will be back within a few days of my son leaving and by the end of February, the main rush will be over and the work will be at a more sedate pace. I actually like the way that I can jam the bulk of my work for the year into a crazy 100 days and then basically coast the rest of the year. Its more like semi-retirement.

Well, time to bundle up and brave the weather to feed the critters. Then another big protein breakfast before heading to the office. Its still snowing a little now. I hope all of my FS Buddies have a WONDERFUL DAY!

Sounds busy as heck but so nice that you can get your workout in early. I hope you have a WONDERFUL DAY as well. (PS - I find you a true inspiration!) Thanks.

Man what a busy schedule! If you eat any extra calories, looks like you need the added energy just to get through your work day let alone your workouts. You are right about the early workouts. My wife and I used to walk every morning to start the day before work. I admit it boosted my energy. She has recently decide to join me in losing weight and getting healthy. We plan to start our walks up this week. We know we have to get moving to go along with our diet plans. Have a great day but take time to enjoy "Life" as well. Lynn is correct you are an inspiration!

Thanks for your kind words folks. I'm really jazzed about life and trying to enjoy every day. My big breakfasts have gotten me through the long periods without breaks. I've been pretty good about hitting my Protein goals. I'm a touch low on carbs & fats, so my overall calorie count is a little low, but I'm sure that will work itself out. My main concern is protein anyway. Thanks again. Have a great day!
