In fits and starts I'm getting back into the diet/exercise mindset. The worst of my stress is past for a bit and I'm back into the more enjoyable planning stage of teaching - which is busy, but a bit less deadline driven that marking.... although Science Fair is coming up.

I've been getting better about fitting exercise into my day. At least I'm trying every morning/before bed to do 5-10 rounds of salute to the sun. I'm trying to fit in 30 minutes of cardio and weights and abs when I think of it. As usual, I'm doing much better on the weekend than I am during the week.

My food has been better, but I'm still getting side tracked by candy and junk lingering from both halloween and christmas... but I'm nearly out and I"m not buying more... I'm tryinig to drink more water and I've upped my soup and jello intake.

If I can keep the extras from sneaking in... I think I'll do okay. My weight is a bit up today, but I think its because I'm getting close to being hydrated, which is nearly impossible in the north because the humidity outside is 67% and the temp is -32C which means that there isn't much moisture at all.

Today my goal is to not eat any more non food. I had a little 100 cal packet of reese snackers... and squash and a smoothie for breakfast.... This will be a challange as I'm going out to a party tonight - but I'm going to try and make sure I have a good healthy dinner before leaving.
