I am currently in the fast 800 diet which means I am very restricted on calories, it's hard but already proving very efficient. This was a great meal, yes, whole meal 😂

I am on day 5 of the fast 800 and Mediterranean diet. I am to review my progress after 2 weeks, but I have already lost nearly 4 pounds. Its tough but really great

I started the same diet in September. I did two weeks on 800 then went to the 5:2 which I’ve stuck to since then (except over xmas). I’m down about 40 pounds, so I’m a fan of this diet! I’m going to follow you for meal inspiration!

Right! I’m inspired too!! Do you pay extra for the meal ideas? I think I need some definite portion rules as I THINK I’ve been careful but probably I’ve eaten enough for four....

@januswoman that's incredible 40 pounds!! I am planning to do the same as you and go to 5:2 after I complete my first stage of 800. We all have a blowout over Christmas I thinks that is completely normal

@trytrytryagain there is a book from the fast 800 on meals and there is also some meal suggestions and recipes in the original fast 800 book. If you research a Mediterranean diet that is the main thing you need to stick to 😊

@shaw1953 thanks for your comment. I am glad my meals are appealing, I will continue to post my food and hopefully inspire some recipes

@trytrytryagain I also track and count all of my calories at this stage in my diet so I literally cannot over eat as everything is accounted for!

@trytrytry if you have iPlayer also watch Michael Mosely Lose a stone in 21 days, it’s a great motivator and good explanation of the principles
