MERRY CHRISTMAS to all on Fat Secret! Its so great that everyone here has the same goal - getting to a healthier state of being. It's wonderful to have other like-minded folks for support and advice.
My Christmas present to myself this year was being able to hike a trail in the State Park for 15 miles yesterday, carrying 40 pounds (at an average speed of 2.91 miles per hour). That would have killed me before I started this journey 7 months ago. The weather was great, the dogs were having fun, so I just decided to push myself further than normal. I could have a gone a bit further (but not much), however, I hadn't planned on such a long hike and didn't have any protein bars and went through my entire 70 oz of water by the time I finished.
I wish everyone the happiest of holidays and a strong start to the New Year. I'm hoping that you all meet your goals for next year and have a happier and healthier 2014!
