Its Baking Day. I'm making a Dutch Apple Pie, a Sweet Potato Pie and a Traditional Apple Pie for a community function later today. The Dutch Apple is done and the Sweet Potato is about to go in the oven, and I haven't so much as licked a spoon so far. Later tonight, I have to attend another catered holiday meal and party for the Rotary Club. I would skip it, but as President, I'm required to attend and participate right to the end (LOL). It will be another diet challenge, but I feel up to it. I'm working out hard today to get a surfeit of calories expended prior to eating away from home. Thankfully the holiday season will be ending soon and life can move on past these food-centric events!
