Sunday morning 11/8 Following FODMAP has not been too difficult. I miss milk, onions and garlic the most. I never considered how many foods contain hidden garlic and onion powders. Read those labels! At the moment, I am not focused on weight loss, but rather finding the foods that cause my IBS. I have seen some slight improvement, however I'm just starting week 3 this morning and I think that it is too soon to expect dramatic results. I already know I will cheat on Thanksgiving. I can skip the homemade yeast rolls, but the bread stuffing (with onions and celery) will be a large portion on my plate. Onions are a NO! and I can have a 2" piece of celery each day. One day (and one meal)of cheating won't be the end of the world.
