My weight was up and down over the weekend, overall though I feel like Im doing well. Especially considering that I havent been to the gym! Ive been doing my squats for the Squatober challenge, and my kid has asked to go on a couple of walks which is HUGE, so I think that Im getting a little more on track with food.

This weekend I took a watercolor class and was starving after so I picked up some Steak n Shake for me and the kiddo. We got small meals because we were supposed to go to dinner with her grandparents that night but we were both still pretty satisfied when we got there. Instead of ordering a dinner that I had no room for, we each got a side salad and that was more than enough. Not something I wouldve done in the past for sure!

Yesterday I spent some time in the kitchen. I cooked ground turkey for turkey taco salads for this week and made a pot of soup for dinner. I was hoping to have some left over but its gone already haha.

My kid discovered that I can, in fact, bake brownies as good as my mother so Ive made two batches this past week. Nothing fancy - just good old Aldi Brownie mix but shes in love with them! Ive been trying to not devour them too. I definitely have some opportunities to cut back on some things and see better progress!

Today I have a short workout at work for our athletes, 140 squats (50 down now), and Im trying to work up the energy to go to the gym tonight too. Im just so tired today that I keep thinking that I can skip the gym since Im doing an AMRAP at work and will prob take a walk tonight but we'll see what happens.
