Hey everybody, how are you? I am brewing over with excitement. We are taking a family trip to Ocean City, Maryland!!! We are going to stay for 4 nights in lodging located directly on the boardwalk and steps away from the beach. I cannot wait to feel some normalcy as a result of being at the beach for a couple of days. I am going to take all safety measures. I am not meeting with friends for a huge bonfire/kegger of 1,000 people (Ha ha).

With a vacation coming up, it does bring about some anxious feelings. I know that I will be eating and drinking until my heart's content. I will stop when I feel satisfied and had my fill. I have concerns about gaining weight every time I go on vacation though. I am going to talk myself down throughout this week though. I think what will also help is if I make it to the gym regularly this week and watch my diet as well (being consistent to the lead up). We leave for the beach this Sunday.

I have to let things go and enjoy. At the same time I must grab the reins and continue with the journey and not allow the indulgences of vacation seep into my regular daily lifestyle of keeping focus on my goals. I truly am excited!!!!

I agree. let things go and enjoy regroup after. strict is good for the normal day to day but a break is nice. settle in and enjoy. there's plenty to stress about after. lol.
