Hi all. Checking in to let you know I am doing horribly - - not following south beach (just letting loose) and not doing any exercize. I WONT SAY WHAT I WEIGH. Had some house hold disturbances-failed electrical, high bills to pay for it, alot of burned out appliances, so I let myself go. Today starts a new day, and I intend to get on program.

It's amazing how external stress can wreck havoc on our best intentions. I am always amazed at how easily I make bad choices in eating and exercise in order to "take care" of myself during times of frustration and that in making those choices I create more problems for myself. I am trying to teach myself that "treats" are not really treats, and that in making unhealthy choices I am abusing myself. At least you recognize what you are doing and are ready to fix it. Good luck, and I hope the problems stop!
