it depends what your eating plan is .. if you are simply restricting calories, then make sure you track everything that you eat. if you're being strictly no carb... then probs not. I restrict calories and practice intermittent fasting for example, so I don't eliminate any foods, but I choose to reduce the amount of bread and pasta I eat because it has a bloating affect on me. so it's all about what fits in with your specific plan. and then. if you really hankering for a yummy slice of almond bread... go for it, one slice won't ruin you 🥳♥️
