Today was leftovers day; I ate the last of the bread pudding (and won't be making any more in the near future, especially not with the all- or multi-grain bread which made it bitter), and the last of the Bremer shepherd's pie (which I learned to reheat in a small frypan that made the unpalatable aroma of some spice dissipate). Yesterday I bought my own groceries for the first time in about seven weeks and got NO commercially prepared entrees. They worked well for me when I was too 'under' to cook, but I do better cooking from scratch. Got a variety of fresh fruit and some frozen veges, as well as salad fixings. My 'guts' don't tolerate a lot of salad or raw veges but I like nearly all of them and need to get more into my routine.
