Heading to the county fair today, can't even imagine what "fair food" I am going to indulge in. Just put down a good healthy breakfast so my appetite stays at bay. Maybe a yummy turkey leg, don't know if I can pass up the fried clams-will share with hubby. I am going to walk my butt off which is good and will do my best to balance the food. Not going to deprive myself but won't go overboard either. And yes...I will journal it all when I get home...wish me luck!

A deep fried Snickers or some deep fried butter ought to do the trick. LOL. Me . . . I'm a funnel cake girl. :-) Have fun and share when you get back. I missed the state fair this year, and it's right in my back yard.

Funnel cake, fresh lemonade, and homemade deep fried curly fries. XD That's our usual fair food when my family goes to the festival. Not very healthy, but delicious. Going to miss it this year. Well Maybe I'll have a taste and let the toddler eat the rest. :)

So on the way to the fair realized it was going to be 90* today. Agreed probably not a good day to do that. Stopped at Grocery store and shopped, got a yummy steak for tonight on the grill, huge salad. Probably better than the fried whatever that I was going to eat. Going to go to the fair next Saturday night when the weather cools off and the midway is all lit up, more fun to be sure...will indulge then. @Johanne, I saw something on TV about that deep fried butter, something sounds very wrong about that!!

For each day in this next week, eat 100 fewer cals than normal and then you will have 500-700 cals you can blow at the fair!
