Just this morning realized that yesterday was June 8th. On March 8, I was 210 lbs. And only 3 months later, on June 8th, I am 170.6. Holy Moley. I wouldn't have predicted that! Last June, when I turned 44, I thought that I'd like to lose 45 pounds by the time I was 45, but didn't know if it was possible. Kept putting it off, and by Christmas, figured there was no way I could lose 45 pounds in 6 months, so why bother trying? There was always a reason not to (there were treats in the house, I couldn't do it for more than a day...) But things changed on March 8th. I was so sick that weekend, I lost 6 pounds. And I took advantage of it -- "I've lost 6, that's a great start. I'm going to try to keep it going." And here I am, with my FS buddies, keeping it going. Being good to ourselves. We can do this!!!
