Shot down by a hamstring injury in both legs...what I thought was sore muscles ended up being even more painful 3 days later. Lots of ice. I think I have a knack of pushing myself too hard. After recovery I plan on low-intensity workouts for a few weeks so I can get myself back up to par. Damn all those rough days and stress I was under! It's really thrown me off by a few weeks.

You are so right about the stress. It can mess you up and with an injury it is even more frustrating because you don't have the outlet to relieve the stress. The upside of the injury if there is one is that it gives you a chance to explore other types of exercise you may not have considered before. Maybe some weight training or stretching or yoga. I did a lot of easy stretching when I hurt my calf playing squash. It took a while but it finally healed enough to play again. Good luck.

I'm trying to rest as much as a mom can :) Steve, I do need to explore new exercise ideas. However I already do a mix of cardio dance, yoga, pilates, weight lifting, p90x, insanity, calisthenics, hiit training, stationary bike. LOL! I like to keep it varied so I don't get bored and keep my muscles confused. I might get a gym membership at planet fitness...it's pretty inexpensive and for the $20 package I can take a friend every time. It's worth a try :D
