I started fasting about 6 weeks ago due to a. dry bad stomach pain after eating curry. I thought that the carbs were the issue. after fasting for 5 weeks I lost 8lba and 9.5" which is great but the issue is bigger than just carbs. Everytime I eat it takes at least 17 to 24 hours for my stomach to feel better. I can't eat more than 2 to 3 bites without feeling horrid for the rest of the day. just ate 3 cookies which will likely kill me but it's freaking xmas and I want to enjoy life a bit. no clue what is going on but it seems I am not digesting properly. good news is I am losing weight , bad news is; this will be Bad long term
