More like it, 192.4 today! I am 8 lbs away from my low from last winter (and that was my lowest weight in probably 15 years). It is a little frustrating that I still don't lose much in the midsection...I am wearing larger clothing now than I did last time I was at this weight. Hopefully the fat in the middle will budge at some point.

I have to attend a baby shower this afternoon. Trying to avoid the food there is going to be a challenge. My menu for today only has around 1000 calories on it, so I have a little wiggle room should I decide to partake in a little snacking, but I'm hoping to avoid it if possible. As fate would have it, the party is during the time of day when I always seem to have an issue with hunger.

Well, congrats on being 192.4! Good job and try hard to avoid the baby shower junk food trap!

Thanks Shia! I'm focused in on 186 right now...that's where my ticker should turn green instead of yellow. I'm determined to see the green! lol Might take me a month or so.

Drink a lot of water at the shower. Excellent drop on the scales!

Congrats! Hope you did well at the shower. Do you set mini goals for yourself? How do you celebrate meeting those goals. I always use to celebrate by going out to dinner. Bad habit. One of my biggest hurdles.

Info...I did drink a lot of water (think I had 9 bottles total yesterday), but I didn't behave very well. lol I will go into it more in today's journal, but all in all I think I could have been worse, and I have no regrets...I even learned a little something about my blood sugar. Paddy: I do have some mini goals, but don't really celebrate meeting them. I have mini goals of losing 5 lbs every four weeks. I don't do anything special when I meet them, more like I just expect it of myself. On the other hand, I will let myself have a treat here and there without having some occasion attached to it, as long as it is not very often. Like a small piece of cake at the shower. It's something I do rarely but I'm learning to allow myself some little token like that without feeling that I have failed in some way.
