I had a fun night out with friends last night, but I am still struggling with eating beyond fullness. I'm seeing a therapist about it, I've started hormone replacement therapy, working out every day (except today, I'm fighting a cold, taking it easy). I'm also starting to use Dr. Jenn Berman's "No More Diets" iOS app. I think that if I will actually use it, it will help me.
Last night a guy in our group that I had just met was flirting with me, and then he said, "You would be really beautiful if you lost some weight." Huh? I think he thought he was complimenting me. Not the kind of compliment I needed last night. Then the rest of the evening he kept telling me how beautiful I am. Um, too late buddy.
Taking it easy the rest of the day, planning my daughter's bridal shower. It's going to be so fun! I'll have both of my girls with me, happy Mamma on March 30.

glad you got to the doctor, hope the hormones work!!!! Geez, that guy is a total moron.... It is like stupid is as stupid does... How can anyones say that to ANYONE! Fat or skinny.. Hange in there, I am so glad you are able to get therapy to figure out triggers. I wish I could, not on my priority list at the moment. Have fun planning the bridal shower!

What a A-Hole..he lost a bunch of brownie points with that statement that woudl take him years to get back..Hope those hormones start working fast...Hugs...:O)

Thanks girls, what a dummy...and I was kind of liking him up to that point, even if he did have a stupid-looking mustache. If it's all gray, what's the point of having it there? Plus, one of my friends obviously liked him, and I go out with this group fairly often. Too much drama.

Well, the guy knew he blew it, he told me at least 4 times after that how attractive he thinks I am, blah blah blah...and he texted me when I got home "to check on me" and sent me an email this morning. So at least I know the secret to getting a guy to chase me, just don't give a s**t about whether I ever hear from him again!
