After over 2 decades, I finally stepped foot in the gym last night!! Started on the stationary bike for 30 min and then a 1 hour Zumba class. I grew up dancing and choreographed many routines for dance groups and last night I never felt more uncomfortable and uncoordinated, lol..but I worked at my own level and my pace and somehow managed to hang in there. It was a very humbling experience. I am extremely proud of myself and was overwhelmed with emotion that I cried in the car all the way back home. May this be the begginng of an amazing and successful weight loss journey! Cheers to a new type of summer kick off!
