Happy Monday! Here is a pic of me holding 5 lbs. of fat! Don't get discouraged when you 'only lost 5lbs.', every pound is a big deal! All your small victories will eventually lead to the ultimate one. I hope this pic will help serve as an eye opener about how much of a big deal 5 lbs. is. One of my favorite quotes thus far, "Suffer the Pain of Discipline, or Suffer the Pain of Regret"

wow think u for that visual. when u r losing weight u don't really think to much about a 5 pound loss. that diffenitly puts a new perspective on it.

Vivid, blood vessels and all! (The one-pound version isn't nearly as visually arresting.) I once had more than 23.4 of these on my body and have lost all but 10.3 more to lose. That's a novel way to look at it!

You are welcome everyone. I know I can easily get discouraged sometimes when I think about how much more I still have left to lose, instead of how far I have come. One of the departments in my office teaches nutrition and health and so I asked them if I can take a pic of their 5 lb. fat model. I know this has definitely helped keep me in check! LOL @Chris yes they also have a 5lb muscle too, you can feel the difference in between the two. Much prefer the muscle over the fat!

Love that quote! It may feel good at the moment to eat something you shouldn't, but the guilt you feel later, and the disappointment when you get on the scale, are much greater than the momentary enjoyment you felt when you ate it.
