Yesterday's journal responses were so helpful and encouraging and I so appreciate each of you taking the time to think about my entry and respond. It really helps. I think the message has gotten through my head that I'll need to give up alcohol for a while. The last two days responses seem to prove it.
Late in the day, I was invited to a happy hour in Scottsdale. I thought,"I can do this, I'm going to socialize, not drink." And I ordered club soda and then I met an amazing man (more on that if he remains amazing), and I had a wonderful time with no drinking. He took me out for sushi, and I just decided not to worry about it, only eat a little, and stay alcohol free. Could this be the solution for me????
Back to Tucson today, the school district there is going to get started on my program for dropouts in a few weeks, and I am going down there to make sure it happens and we are ready to go after the school board approves. This will be the largest account my company has ever had. Exciting!!
