@tootytoots you boil samp and beans add salt and simmer for about 2 to 3 hours until the samp is soft and tender don't let it dry out, then add healthy fats, old school cooking uses wholesome fat , but modern cooking uses butter to give it that creamy texture. Some go to the extreme to add aromat and cremora. I use wholesome and beef stock to flavour it. there are so may variations and recepies
