Hello, everyone!! I am starting South Beach today. I will be off work for the next 12 weeks and I want to return to work a slimmer person.

Sticking to a diet is SO hard for me, so I really need support from others!

Hi Emily, You will find plenty of support here. Just do your best in sticking to the plan and try to keep an eye on your overall consumption of calories. Best of luck on the SBD! :-)

Congratulations on joining this site! That is a BIG step on its own! I hope you find it as awesome as I have! I have found many people to be supportive & helpful. If you have a question on most anything there is someone who knows or will find out! My journey (I hate the word DIEt!)started Jan. 10th & will continue until I am done & feel safe enough to do it alone (could be forever)LOL!! Best to you & cheers to you!!!

Oh wow, I just noticed youre the weight I was and your goal is close to what my goal was, until I reached it and even went further. I started at 173 and my goal was 130, but after hitting 130 I was still on meds so I focused on fitness and the rest came off. Oh wow, I'm so excited for you...you can SO do this!!!!
