The losses continue, yippee! I ate two meals out yesterday, but managed to stay very low carb. I like that!
Ok, for my day yesterday...I think it could be the best day I've had in this job since I started last July. I met with the Mayor of Tucson, and he is excited about out program and is going to put me in front of other mayors of the larger cities in Arizona (Phoenix!) to tell them about our dropout recovery program. He's willing to do what he can to help me reach as many school districts and kids as possible. I really liked him, and I'm excited about what we can do together!
After I left Tucson, I went to another small school district for their board meeting. They unanimously approved my proposal, and we are going to start helping kids right away! This is my first contract in Arizona, and I"M SO EXCITED!!!
Now I'm off to another great meeting. My job is finally taking off and I love it! Who would have thought I could start a new career at 54 and love it so much. I wish I was 10 years younger, but I'll probably keep going like this into my 70s. What a thought!
