I don’t understand when people say they can’t eat enough calories. I can without really trying. Yesterday, I splurged a bit (800+ calorie workout left me some room).

Had a chicken sandwich, waffle fries and coke at Chick-Fil-a (850 calories), went to a baseball game (beer, brisket without the bun) which was 600 calories. Stayed away from a second beer (thank you FatSecret) and hit 3000 calories for the first time in a while. If you want more tricks for packing in calories, let me know! 🤪

When I say I can’t enough calories is when I try to eat only homemade food no junk

Of course I think if I would eat 2200 calories of chocolate I would be left hungry ... I’m not silly/ or an experimental person so I have not tried that

Oh when I eat burgers, pizza and whatnot I can totally eat all my calories

Must agree, never have understood when someone says I just can't eat all that food. And yet, they are overweight. Hmmm....

Oh yeah that is weird, but I think it’s mostly on restricted diets. Maybe they are sick of their options 🧐 I’m sure if someone would offer a cake 🍰 their tummy would say yeah I have some room around here

As we all know, a lot of people don’t do well at tracking calories. One beer, burger, pizza, steak, ice cream, chocolate etc all put my calories on the edge of my limit. Heck, any significant butter and oils will even get me up there!

Yep, tracking everything will at times, put you in a surplus.

I personally cannot stand that stuffed bloated feeling from overeating. I don’t eat fast food, I don’t eat much in the way of junk food, I only eat till I’m full. I don’t eat a lot of foods with high sat fats. So yea, it can be hard to get my calories and my NUTRITION In on a daily basis. Sometimes I have to just eat 4 smaller meals since my breakfast is typically about 4 am., lunch at 11 ish, dinner 4-5 and then something about 8 ish.

I concur Kenna. I don't really like eating fast food/junk food - I don't think it taste that great or looks appealing. Although I do enjoy a good pizza.

I agree with you Courtney. I had a Chick-fil-a size workout and decided to have a treat. My CICO was at about +800 after my chicken sandwich and fries. Didn’t feel bad or anything after because my engine was firing! I didn’t overdo the food and I had a good balance of health. The fast food I do the most is Starbucks. Healthy options like egg white bites, spinach feta wraps, coffee, green tea, salads. Once in a while, it’s nice to have something different.

Yesterday I could only eat 1100 to 1200 calories. I was really full. This had something to do with skipping breakfast which I always do and then I ate protein foods. So it is more than possible to reach a satiated point on that level for me if I eat low carbs. If I start the day with sugar and can eat thousands of calories. I do not worry about that amount as long as it only happens once in a while. Most days I eat more and some days it goes high. I am on a follow my body diet so it is all good

Yes, the biggest issue is tracking, especially later in the evening!!

Courtney— I love pizza. I make my own sauce and use pita rounds as the base. Perfect individual size or easy to do for a pizza bar with friends. I freeze the sauce in ice cube trays and then put them into a baggie. They take just a minute or two to thaw in the microwave. Pizza on demand. It is now my favorite pizza and I don’t remember the last time I went out for it. Perfectly portion controlled and no left overs. On an average it comes out to about 500 calories, I control the ingredients and it’s not swimming in grease and salt.

@Kenna....almost same here! I love pizza so much that I started making homemade versions. I haven't tried making my own sauce - but it's something I always wanted to do. Perhaps I'll try next time the craving strikes me!

Lol same here. It's all in the density. Hard to get there with salads but piece of cake with... Well.. Cake! Or a double meat cheeseburger with fries and chocolate shake.
