Sounds wonderful!😊 I just did “chair 🧘🏻♀️ yoga” yesterday for the first time🤗 it was a 5 minute session at work with my Dr and PA friends. We watched online and followed along. It was absolutely fantastic. We were so relaxed but had a new energy.

It’s a great start to the day! As the quote says, “ A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” or something to that effect. Please remember to drink water all day, too. Your body will thank you.

@Munchrrs09, trust me. Yesterday I drank 56 oz of water at work. 20 oz at home. 16 oz of 100% Colombian coffee without anything added, and 6 oz of kava tea. Every last thing I put in my body is being added to my chart. I’ve left nothing out. If I add pepper, it goes on the list. Milk, ketchup, mustard, butter, absolutely every little thing needs to be in it. I made the goal to drink at least 32 oz of water by my lunch at work. That’s included with my coffee. I’m totally hydrating. Haha.

@Shirfluer 1, you should totally try it. I tried chair yoga, but it wasn’t doing the energy aspect that I needed for my depression. That’s why I switched to meditation. I will meditate for ten minutes twice a day and mix in exercise.

Hey hj, glad i saw this. I meant to post on your yoga thread yesterday but got distracted. Then i couldn't find it this am. anyway, when i was gathering info at the beginning, i came across an article on "life hacker" called "how to start exercising when you are already overweight." I bookmarked it and reread it from time to time. Just wanted to mention to anyone getting started on fitness journey and parts of your body are in the way. Great start to your day!

Thank you! I’m an obsessive person. So I’m putting that obsession on eating healthy. It’s seriously working and I’m loving it. Though I did have to choke down the protein shake. I hate the flavor I got and atm I can’t afford a new one. But I don’t want to be wasteful so I’ll take the protein anyway. Sometimes you gotta just sacrifice taste for health. The body will adjust and grow to crave it. I’ve been down this road many times lol.
