I weigh every day but only record the numbers I like. :) Even so, I keep finding lower & lower numbers every few days so that spells progress in my book. It's normal for your weight to fluctuate by as much as 2-3 pounds from day to day, not to mention scales being finicky. Stepping on my digital scale is like playing Russian roulette some days.

I have issues with salt I can gain up to 10 pounds in a day.... just water and it takes me 6 days to get it all off. So watching your salt in take might help. Know the symptoms of salt sickness and be aware. I live in a very hot humid climate and getting salt sick is easy to do. So watch for leg cramps, nausea, vomiting, general malaize =(I JUST DONT FEEL GOOD) excessive sweating and dizzyness. If you do get these symptoms go to a cool place remove most of your clothing have a pinch of salt right from the box and some water.. gatoraide can help to replace the lost electrolytes. If you dont have any on hand eat a bananna or a whole kiwi...rub off the fuzz and eat the skin too. Kiwi only has about half the potassium of a bananna but it will do.

I am so thankful that I have never suffered from water retention problems or issues with salt. It really helps me stay encouraged when my scale doesn't flexuate like crazy.

I have to weigh daily to keep track of the salt. AH well to all old things come old problems. LOL
