Day 207: ??? Calories; Weight at 205 (Down 1.0 pound) {following Info}

Good Morning Wonderful People,

I will not stay for long but saying hello as I visited some journals this morning. I have a Social Event for the Homeless Community that I work with where two will graduate from our program of Safety Counts. The theme is Family Reunion where we have invited all of the clients from the past year so we are expecting a full house. Basically, it will be another long day for me.

Oh well, I will live lol and I will keep you all in my prayers as we go through the day and this week is already over. I woke this morning an exercise after two months of inactivity. I tried to run but could not catch my breath and I started feeling bad and frustrated until I walked it off. I CANNOT RUN and that is SAD. I wanted to do Tae Bo/Kick Boxing and definitely learn how to swim this Summer. However, I do not see that happening as I work 10hours a day and school full-time Mon-Tue.

Me voy mi familia, and Dios te Bendiga! (You would think I speak Spanish for real :]).

I don't run either, walking gets me where I want to go. ;-) Brisk walking is a happy medium. Have a good day inola, try not to work too hard.

Walking is good. Doing anything is better than not doing at all. Take it slow you will get there. One little thing every day and you will grow stronger. Before you know it you will be doing what ever you want. Pick a little something everyday...taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Parking far away from where you are going. Little baby steps and watch what happens.

Thank you all! I have been doing most of these Cathy and some :)) and I kind of agree with you Glen, it might not be my thing. Info :)) have a great day as well and I did kick my butt working today and my feet are killing me :(. One step @ a time indeed Chris!

Inola I have not been able to get to all the journals and am catching up tonight. Glad you had a marvelous birthday and Happy Birthday again. Running is not always what you may think. It is extremely hard on all the joints and bad on the feet. Many runners have issues later on in life. Walking (or swimming when you learn) is excellent exercise. I walk, not a lot as I still nurse bad knees, but I do walk and would do it more if I could and it was not so HOT. And it has been hot right? And you are farther south from me! Whew. Just try eating healthy things, not fast food, and with all the work you do, you should be able to drop pounds. Have faith in yourself...... we do. :-)
