I got that nice little alert today, telling me I am losing at a rapid pace...love it!
So last night I met one of my FS buddies in person! Erin is a delight, such a cool person, and as motivated as I am. What a wonderful gift from this site! Erin and I went shoe shopping, and I decided to try on tall boots, which have never fit around my calves. Zipped them right up! I didn't buy them because they were nearly $200, but now I have a new goal...
When I reach 185.0, I am going shopping for a cute sweater dress and some tall boots. Splurge!
When I thought of that goal, 185 sounded far away until I realized it is only 10 pounds away. I'm still getting my head around being under 200 lbs and what that means for what I can wear and how I must look. I don't have a good sense for how I look now, and I can't yet look at clothes and tell if they are going to fit or not. Pictures don't help, because in some I say "WOW, I'm small" and others I say "WOW, look at that roll of fat around my middle." I guess I just need to take some straight on photos for comparisons. I regret that I didn't take a before photo and measurements.
I have several meetings today that I'm excited about, I get to dress up when I leave my home office! But mostly I'm excited that I have another chance to help a school district get dropouts back in school. Please let them understand that I am there to help, not trick them out of the state's money.
