Hi! I used to be in TOPS, and one of the ladies recommended this site.
I've been obese for about 5 years now. Before my big weight gain I probably was about 20 to 30 lbs over weight. At one time I kicked butt and got down to 145...I was in super good shape, but it only lasted a few months. Most of my attempts at weight loss lasted only a few months...I gave it my all, but just gave up I guess. Not really sure why other than I was just not as motivated as I thought I was.
The holiday season is always tough. My family loves to get together and bake, so I'd love to gain control over my eating.

Welcome - and hang around. I also used to give up in the past - but not this time because I have support here.

Thank you, I'm excited to meet new people through this site. Support is a big help in weight loss...and I hope to learn a lot too through others.

I keep giving up to.. I am my own worst enemy. I have been over weight my entire life and have dieted, excercised and tried every fad there is. I am really hoping through the support on this board and diligent meal planning I can do it!
