I've been keeping busy and my evening snacking problem has not been a problem recently. YEAH!! I'm keeping a positive attitude. I've caught myself a few times turn to negative thoughts about my weight loss journey, but stop the thoughts immediately and switch to a positive thought. It seems to be working--I'm kind of in awe and wish I would have tried this attitude change years ago. Better now then never, right? My two boxers help me with comic relief. They can be so funny sometimes--such personalities! I noticed something today that hasn't happened in a long time. I was walking into work from the parking garage and walking at a fairly good clip and didn't get short of breath or feel like I couldn't take another step. I think part of this is because of the weight loss and part of it is because of the positive attitude. It seems like the positive attitude permeates my entire body and I feel better all over. At the end of the day of teaching, I felt a little more tired, but still not as bad as I have before.
My cravings are becoming less and less. I still have them on rare occasions, but I've become stronger and able to say no much easier than I have before. I think the positive attitude is a major reason for my success this past week. My fear of not being able to eat enough calories has disappeared since my attitude has changed. I am truly amazed at how the attitude has helped me with my diet this much so far. I hope everyone else is having the same success that I am.
