When I saw your beautiful photo I thought it was the Philippines looking over the lake at the volcano cone! I see now that you live in Thailand. I was in Chang Mai for a month many years ago. We were working with Karen and Leisu refugees. I was trying to do the Ketogenic but must have been doing something wrong. I was just not losing. Dunno!

cannjensen Haven't been up there yet. Ketogenic and body fat reduction is basically the same. Keto diet is about being a fat burner on full time, instead of just at the last few hours of sleep. One of the big advantages with keto diet is the naturally occurring appetite supressing effects that gives us an unreal control. Basic principle is to keep out quick acting carbs as they so easily bring back the uncontrollable appetite. Slow acting carbs are allowed as they do not cause this uncontrollable hunger as much. Hunger is also about nutrition. You may fill up the stomach with low quality foods. The body will soon realise it got fooled, and bring back the hunger shortly after. This is an important part. Eating whole eggs, red meat and organ meat is very satisfying for the body, and it will stop ringing the hunger bells.
