Welcome to the see-saw that is my weight.

Up and down, up and down. I feel like I'm going to throw up. This weather (rainy and cold) is depressing me, and makes me not want to do anything. I did manage to get a walk in last night, but Joe's sneakers were hurting his feet, so I had to cut it at least 40 minutes short, so we were only out for like 50 minutes.

At least the scale went down a little bit today. But that was only after being terribly restrictive with my diet. I wasn't hungry though. I never let myself go hungry, that's probably the most important thing. I always feel full and satisfied.

My weight right now, however, doesn't make me feel satisfied. I've been stuck in the 150s for far too long. I'm teetering on the edge, and it's frustrating me. I know my goals, but they are seeming farther and farther away with each passing day. I have 2 months, 10 weeks, 72 days until I leave for Jamaica. I know I shouldn't push it, but I want to be in the 130s by then. I'll even take 139! I know the advice is going to be do the Wendie plan, but I'm frightened of spiking my calories like that. I need a tape measure. I need to get my measurements. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow, so I can see what's actually going on.

I took my measurements over a year ago, so I guess I can compare these new ones to that. I need SOMETHING to gauge this on, because the scale isn't satisfying me anymore. It's inability to budge, despite my efforts.

I also haven't been to yoga lately, the weather changing, and just other obligations have really thrown me for a loop. I need to get a good sweat on, I think. Unfortunately, it's looking like I won't be able to make it until AT LEAST next Wednesday or Thursday. The rain today is not helping either, I want to get out and move, but the rain makes me want to curl under the covers and not get out of bed.

Wow, is TOM here or what? Sorry about being all cranky, I'll shake it off soon.

Yeah, rain sucks - especially when your biggest form of exercise is walking OUTSIDE. I don't even want to walk from my car to the gym in the rain! Maybe you should get some work out DVDs? I had a few VHS work out tapes, but then we got rid of the TV with the VHS player built in.... never did open them anyway.... lol. I bet you could even get something free off youtube that you could follow at home - be worth looking into. I really think that exercise is the key to weight loss - diet is great, but its not going to take you as far as you want. Have a good one, and have fun harassing our favorite friend! ( ;

Things may go up & down, but overall your chart shows a STRONG downward trend. You're doing great.
