I love the 8/16 schedule. I cram as much as I can into 8 hours and fast the rest of the time. I found that this is better for me to eat during the early morning and afternoon then fast dinner time and into the night. Makes me feel so much better and less bloated. When I’m not feeling that great or maybe have eaten too much I will go 6/18 to change it up

Doing 16:8 with an eating window of 10am-6pm - however I am rarely hungry before 1:30pm so most days really have only a 4 1/2 hour eating window with 19 1/2 hours fasting - I normally eat 1 full meal around 1:30 and then have a snack about 5:30 - l feel much better eating my heavier meal early and the snack keeps away the hunger in the evenings which is when I really used to pig out - for some reason the snack also helps keep away the headaches that can come while fasting - good luck!

when you fast on IF, if you plan your meals well many find they eat less and yes lose weight. If you eat terrible foods you will have less then stellar results. commonsense is a part of it.

I do last food at 8 pm 1st meal at 1pm MWF and a 24 hour fast one other day of the week! Its much easier than you will anticipate it being!

@sakie. I also exercise but nothing crazy and I have lost over 60 pounds. One thing I have done though is cut out beer and alcohol from my diet

After several months of extended fasting (to get used to it), when I do I do eat, during the week, I only eat between 6:00pm-8:00pm.
