I am very proud of myself that I haven’t had a sweet (cookie, candy, cake, ice cream, etc) all month! I am addicted to sugar and have to really watch the sweet things I eat or they begin to take over my thought life. I begin planning what route home I’m taking from work and wondering “hmm, shall I stop at Dunkin Donuts or pick up candy at the Walgreens?” I begin stocking the candy jar at work, stopping by the bakery after I pick up 🥗 at Chick Fil A. I begin to notice that my grocery cart is filled with primarily sweet things. Therefore I have needed to get it out of my system! So, yea to all of you who can be moderate! And yea to us who are learning to tell our bodies no!

Once I get to a healthier weight I’m going to try to train/ torture myself into eating in a normal and healthy manner.

Awesome! I’m on day 12 of no sweets. I too was a sugar craver. It’s getting easier every day but the temptation is hard.

Over a month with no sweets! This month I am trying to abstain from coffee too. Pray for me! I am worried I will be dragging all month.

Sounds so cooool. We eat too much sugar. I’ve never tried to get away from sweets. Love dark chocolate, chocolate candies, cakes, etc. If anyone takes sweets from me, they better run fast. xD

definitely a harder thing to do, getting off coffee, I had to pick up extra 5 hour energy to help avoid those nasty caffeine headaches. and I cheated twice this week with the coffee. Just added more cream but still I should not have either.

Congrats on controlling your sugar consumption. That's the hardest thing for me to do. I'm ok if I don't have it, but am tempted to binge if its available.

If you can handle Stevia it has worked wonders for me. I use an extract O make from the powdered leaves not a commercial product but it should be similar.

Yesss... oh my goodness! I am now having that problem. Trying to kick my sugar/ sweet tooth habit. The lack of sugar is making me feel bad. This is only the beginning so I am trying to fight my way through it. I wish you all the best in your journey!

I am there I always want something sweet after my only meal, lunch. I usually have an Atkins bar or Russell Stover sugar free candy piece. It’s doable. I haven’t had a real cookie or regular candy since June. Hoping the sweet crave will slow down soon. Guess I am a sweetaholic

Im like you, I cant do moderation! My downfall is nuts, once I start I cant stop so the only way for me is to avoid them completely. Well done x

Oh that is so hard. I feel your pain, literally. When I eat sugar my arthritis hurts more, so there's big motivation to lay off the sweets! I still succumb, though. Working on it.
