Good for you! At this time in my life, I refuse to make my life journey about a number on the scale. Been there, did that, and wasted lots of time and money in the process. For me, the number on the scale is data that keeps me on track. That's it. If the number is up, I know I need to cut back. If it is consistent, great. It's about how I feel. If I eat something, and I ache the next day, or I can't make a fist, or my face is puffy, or I have digestive issues, it comes off the shopping list. I really believe your own body will tell you what it needs if you pay attention. Now many years into living a lifestyle focused on whole foods and health, and not calorie restriction or macros, the thing I once had to do is the thing I want to do.
