Does anyone else have trouble with hypoglycemia or a hard time keeping insulin levels low while on keto? I train sometimes twice a day so I’m cycling the carbs replenishing glycogen stores every 3 days with about 120-180 grams of carbs other days are less than 80-60 grams. Thoughts? 🙃

You're not in ketosis (yet!). I outweigh you by 30% and would never get fat adapted at your stated carb intake of ~100g per day. Also, according to your diary, you are averaging 140g of carbs/day. Too much for keto. Even your goal level of carb intake would have me feeling shitty, craving, and ultimately binging, and you are a solid 40% over your stated goal. I would kill the carbs (<30g net/day) for a week and see what happens. Pause the cardio if needed. Go from there. Good luck!

Really?! I used to compete and as an athlete everyone says I need carbs blah blah okay so I need to cut back on weight training then if I’m going to drop my carbs I’ll try and see! Thanks 🙏🏼

When I was a type 2 diabetic (man, I never get use to saying that) I didn't "cycle" my carbs... but, I would "front-load" them about 2 hours before I needed them (i.e. for push-mowing 3 hours worth of yard)... hope that helps.

Oh, and my limit was 60--80 per day, regardless of what was going on.
