After an elliptical workout yesterday morning and 3 hours of yard work in the afternoon, this morning is a hot tub morning instead of exercise 😉
going to the gym for the first time tonight to meet with a trainer and have her design a workout for me. Wish me luck! I’ve never been to a gym.

Nerves betray me, I do not want to be the only one who does not have any idea of what to do over there, meanwhile, I enjoy doing my exercises at home

Thanks guys😁 the gym scares me so much too! I’m nervous but I’ve got to conquer my fears to get where I want to be! My home workouts just aren’t enough.

You will love the gym! I go to a nice neighborhood gym and everyone is friendly and says hello. I also go to Planet Fitness and even there if I am struggling with something I just go ask someone for help and they will help you. Believe it or not, everyone is focusing on their own workout so they really aren't "staring at you". You will eventually lose the self-consciousness as you concentrate on your own workout. Good for you for branching out and pushing your boundaries. Have fun!!

Best advice I ever heard about the gym is that YOU are the only person you're competing against. A little better each day. This approach also allows you to do the work rationally without ending up injured. Enjoy. It can be really meditative once you get the routine sorted out.
